Biography
Alturna plays with weight… in sound, subject, and presence. Rooted in the outer edges of Ottawa, they call what they make Nü-Punk: dense, rhythmic, and unpolished, drawing as much from hardcore as from early 2000s metal.
Faith runs through their work, though not as resolution, but as atmosphere and truth. Their latest single, “RIGHT THROUGH ME,” stands alone: spare, heavy, and deliberate. It’s less pulse and more a statement.
